This term Rowan Class' focus author is Julia Donaldson.
At home time on Friday we read this story which was hilarious.
Alfie thought the best bit was "when the cow jumped on the table" and
Thomas Osbourne-Davies loved "the bit when the house was full to bursting".
Everybody decided that the picture of the goat sitting on the egg was really silly.
We decided that Julia Donaldson is a brilliant author and we can't wait to read some more of her stories. If you have any suggestions then we'd love to hear them x
Charlotte is a big Julia Donaldson fan. She has The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child, The Singing Mermaid, Squash & A Squeeze, The Highway Rat and Superworm. Her favourite is probably Superworm!
